This is part of ongoing research about people’s connection to land and its diminishing form due to environmental change and excessive construction. I explore identity through land within an evolving country.

I documented, collected and accumulated earth sediment from geographical points around the UAE and encased them within glass panels. Some sites may be visited today using the geographic points mentioned below. Other sites no longer exist and have been buried or dug up for construction.
